I went here for lunch today with a friend who was in town from Philadelphia and my food was, frankly, gross. I work down the street and have been here before. The salads I've had, although pricey, have always been good, which is why I'm giving them two stars. Today I decided to order a sandwich and was shocked by how much I disliked my food. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, which comes with pieces of apple, grape, and pecans on ciabatta. It came with either a side salad or blue corn chips and salsa. For the side I opted for the latter, even though it didn't really go with the sandwich, only because Passover begins tonight and I won't be able to eat things like that for a little while. The salsa was actually really good and fresh, though they give you maybe two tablespoons for a lot of chips. The chicken salad, though, was just terrible. It was sweet (to be expected with the fruit) but was not balanced at all by savory chicken. The chicken was shredded but was mixed with so much mayo (or whatever they use) that it was basically like a smooth chicken pate. Literally, not a single chunk of chicken. There was also no chicken flavor. It was totally overwhelmed by either the mayonnaise they used or some spice that was really tangy. A few times I even stopped to check to see if they actually gave me tuna salad in error. Flying Avocado has a lot of redeeming qualities. Big salads that I've always enjoyed, lots of smoothies and protein shakes, vegan chili and a really nice variety of loose teas. It's expensive, though - my disappointing sandwich and a soda came to $11. And today was bad. Really bad. I don't know if chicken salad just isn't their forte or what, but the next time I go to lunch during the work day I'll probably think twice before heading here.

I've been passing this place for years and finally decided to give it a try. I ordered the Jerk Chicken wrap with mixed greens. I love the house vinaigrette and I always ask for extra!

If you haven't been here, you need to go! This place is so good and so fresh! I had the soup and salad combo with vegan chili and the avocado Niçoise salad with grilled chicken. The dressing was so light and delicious. I finished with an iced coffee (they use Zekes) and felt full yet not stuffed which is a good thing. The portions are great and the prices are spot on!

It's difficult for a vegan to eat out. So, I was delighted when I found The Flying Avacado Cafe. I've been a regular customer for about a year now. I felt very safe ordering items from the menu that were clearly labeled as vegan. Unfortunately, today my trust was broken when I ordered the White Rice & Puerto Rican Black Beans (listed in the Vegans section of the menu). I was informed by one of the staff that the dish was not vegan because the beans are prepared in a meat base. Nice! I've been deceived, having eaten this many times on previous occasions. Now I have to question other menu items. What about the House Vegan Chili?

A nice array of healthy options with some good versatility throughout the menu. I placed an order over the phone and went to pick it up about 10 mins later - no issues. The friendliness of the staff could've been greater, but it's a small deli in a small town...you're not expecting to be treated like a king. No major complaints on service. Ordered the Avocado Niçoise salad and it was delicious. A good amount of chicken and avocado, and everything was pretty fresh. I would recommend this place to anyone who cares about their health and diet but doesn't want to sacrifice taste.

Well made and tasty food. However, the price does not justify the portion. Over $9 for a vegetarian wrap that isn't completely filling? I'd rather take my chances at Chipotle. This place is for the healthy eater who doesn't mind spending the extra money to be a healthy eater. While the food is 4 star - the price, portion, and ambiance make it make it an overall 3 star.

I was given great recommendations by the people who work there, I had the banana maple crunch smoothie and avocado power house wrap which were absolutely fantastic! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will most deff be back for more. :)

Used to love this place. Don't know what happened. Ordered the avocado chicken wrap. Tasted good but it fell apart completely as I was eating it. The side salad had more rotted greens than fresh. They couldn't accommodate a small coffee, something about a machine being down. They could only do cappuccinos at twice the price. They only had enough rice milk, what I requested, to fill the cup halfway and that was how it was presented to me. It was so strong I could not drink it. This is not the relaxing, great place it used to be and the prices are too high for the failing quality. I won't be going back.

I love this little cafe. They have several delicious vegan food, smoothie, coffee options. I've never had any issues, been coming here for years. They also have little vegan treats now and then in their bakery section.

The only reason I won't give it five stars is because the hours of operation are so limited. We always crave it on Sundays and after 7:00!

Love the you pick two combo. The staff remembers me when I come in, The kitchen is always consistent and the food is a great deal, Keep up the great work Flying Avocado!

Overall the food is decent here. The food is a solid 3 stars but what makes it a 4 star rating is the service. They always check on you to see if things are ok and if it isn't, they make it right. I've had the Grilled Portobello wrap and it's 7/10 I've had coffee a few times and have been good... at Starbuck's level. They use Zeke's so that's also a plux vs large corporate businesses.

The food here is very good. My fav is the jerk chicken wrap. It is delicious!!! The turkey meatball wrap is also very tasty! My husband loves the grilled portabella wrap. There are lots of good vegetarian options here. The restaurant is very cozy and has a great atmosphere. If you're in the Owings Mills area and are looking to try something different, check them out.

I have tried to like this place. But after today, I won't be back. Overpriced food. Rude service. Terrible parking and seating. I tried to order the Grilled Tofu wrap, asking to have the tofu grilled a little longer. They have a combo with a sandwich and salad. I asked for the combo, but was told that wraps are not sandwiches. I had a hard time understanding the girl. I asked if I could just have the wrap, but to please grill the tofu longer. She said she had to ask the manager. The manager then looked disgusted and asked if they even had tofu. I told him it was on the menu. He said nobody ever eats it. I could only have a whole sandwich ( which I am still not sure why I would only get half ) because he couldn't feed the other half of my sandwich to anyone. ( UMMM... why are you serving other people half of my food? ) When I asked why this was so complicated, they both stared at me like I was stupid. At this point I cancelled the wrap, since obviously they thought it was gross and I wasn't going to spend $9.00 on a sandwich they didn't want to make. I did order a smoothie since I was waiting for someone there. It was bland, overpriced ( $6.00 ) and I had no place to sit except my car. Save yourself some time, money, and stress and stay away!

Ordered the chicken noodle soup. Overpriced and too salty. Chicken was extremely dry. Very disappointed considering it cost almost $7.00!

I've eaten here twice. The second time was just hoping that my first experience was just me catching them on an off-day. I was wrong. Food here is bland and they have to do a better job of being creative with their seasonings. Also, saw several flies flying around the times that I've been there. Turned off.

Food is awesome all the time. But the phone experience is also a part of a customer's service. Keep it classy with the manners.

With a name like "The Flying Avocado," what's not to love? This is a very cute spot with a menu that made me drool. Perhaps it's because of the company that I was keeping, but we were focused on the food so I'll give points to the venue. With so many great looking items, I wasn't sure what to try but something on the specials list jumped out at me. "Turkey Meatball Wrap" I pondered a bit and went with my gut...it's food right? Going with the gut is good. Mmmmmmmm Lightly seasoned and yet very savory. The meatballs were perfectly moist with just the right amount of sauce. If I was in a Carl's Jr mood, I'd need much more sauce in there but in this case it was just right. Can't wait to try it again.

I'd been driving past this little cafe for months, and as soon as I walked in I thought about all the mediocre meals I'd eaten in the past. Those memories turned to regret as I contemplated how good they all could have been had I just come here. Organic, some vegan and some not, a killer selection of loose leaf teas and brilliant ingredient combos = no small amount of happiness for this story's hero. While they bill as vegetarian, for we meat eaters there is the (delicious) lamb sandwich with the red skin potato and rosemary sauce. Plus many other options. Ambiance, you ask? Picture a cafe. Take out the rooster figurines and old photos of people next to boats. Insert deep finished wood, windows, a pleasantly basic aesthetic and enough seating for a couple big groups. Or several "no pressure" first dates (it's close to the movie theater, too).

YUM! I had the black bean soup and the avocado ahi tuna caesar salad. Both were delicious and the salad was huge. Very healthy and plenty of options for vegans, vegetarians and meat-eaters. My dad got the turkey pesto sandwich and he loved it.

I like this place and the food - when I can find a seat. I've walked in and turned back around on a number of occassions because of the crowds.

Really terrible. All around terrible. Here is a letter my husband wrote to them after our abysmal lunch and we never recieved a response. Dear Flying Avocado, I am not normally one to write an email about a negative experience but this afternoon I had one of my worst dining experiences in recent memory and it agitated me to the point that I feel I must inform you as to the level of unsatisfactory service and mediocre, at best, food that I received at your restaurant this afternoon. I manage a nearby bicycle store and, more than the vast majority of people, understand that it is very hard to employ a happy, enthusiastic, educated and interested staff. However, each interaction that I had with the 3 different servers/register workers who 'helped' my fiance and I this afternoon showed either disinterest, gave completely incorrect information, made an egregious error in our order or were plain rude. Instead of writing out a story I'll just bullet point the lowlights of the visit: -None of your servers knew if your tofu was gluten free or not. Given that my fiance has Celiac's disease this is something I would hope that someone in your restaurant would know. Or, I would hope that you would have a book detailing your every ingredient so that we could find the information and order accordingly. Instead, a young woman just shrugged and said "Umm...I think so...umm...no one here would know, the cooks definitely don't know." Wow, just the opposite answer we wanted to hear. This could actually be dangerous. What if we had ordered the tofu (as most time it is gluten free) and it hadn't been and my fiance had had a reaction upon her first bite because you can't educate your workers? Having been vegan for 10 years I have been to alternative restaurants around the world and one thing that any restaurant claiming to pride themselves on their alternative fare must offer is an educated and informed staff. -Because my fiance could not order the tofu, she ordered a salad that came with tuna but asked to hold that tuna and maybe add some more avocado in its stead. When the food was served it came not only with the tuna fish on it but upon inspecting the bill we were charged extra for extra avocado. Wow, again. Of course, they did fix the salad and bring another although I have to say it didn't actually have the extra avocado on it...just 5 or 6 slices around the outside. Fine, no big deal, people make mistakes bringing us food all the time. Its something we are used to seeing that I am vegan and she is a vegetarian who eats gluten free. But to be charged extra for a $9 salad that didn't even come with the most expensive part (the tuna) is just too much. -My marinated tofu wrap was honestly bad. It had no taste. There was definitely no marinade on the tofu, instead it was the kind of floppy tasteless hunk of nothingness that turns so many people off to vegetarian fare. I understand and wholeheartedly agree with wanting to use few ingredients, keep recipes simple and free from excess sugars, fats and oils but it is very easy to make a tasty marinade for tofu. Your tomatoes were white and hummus also had no taste. Once again, I understand being underwhelmed but paying $9 for a wrap that I could have made at home for $2 in the same amount of time that we waited for our food and have had it taste much better is discouraging at best. -Lastly, upon finishing I decided to get a warm drink to go. I approached a young man at the counter and asked if it would be possible to get a vegan mocha. He stared at me and just said 'Huh?'. So, I nicely asked if you have any type of alternative chocolate that you use to make vegan chocolate drinks (as you do pride yourselves on being vegan friendly) since I noticed on the board that a mocha was described as "espresso with hot chocolate". He, amazingly, rolled his eyes and muttered "No." No explanation, no "actually, I'm sorry we don't". I was treated as if I was really weird and at the wrong place if I wanted to get a vegan drink. So, I ordered a red eye and it was deplorable. Not strong, not a hint of espresso, watery coffee really. -Oh and...while I was waiting for my drink there was a small older woman who asked the young woman who initially helped us for a hot decaf tea. She didn't specify which kind, she didn't ask for some exotic form of rooibos, just a plain old decaf and was told that you have no decaf. None at all. I felt sorry for the elderly woman as it was icky out and what is better than a nice hot drink when its wet and nasty out. The elderly woman was ready to settle for just hot water with a lemon, so, I intervened and said, "hey, I see a chamomile over there, that is usually decaf". The younger woman looked at me like I was butting into her private conversation but went to the back and got out a folder with the tea list and sure enough, there was chamomile listed as decaf so the woman was able to enjoy a tea. This, tois reall

Maybe it's because I had this preconceived notion that everything was going to be covered in avocado with avocado slices on the top... This place is ok. The menu looks great, and then you get your food and it just seems to be missing something.

I work close to Flying Avocado and usually go to lunch there about once a week during the spring and summer. The chicken salad sandwich is definitely a favorite and includes apples and grapes! The Chicken Berry Salad is also another go to and their blueberry vinaigrette makes the salad. This is a great place to go for lunch with outdoor and indoor seating. Food is fresh and always tasty!

This might be the only vegan restaurant around, but the food is HORRIBLE. It has no taste. It's hard to believe anyone would waste money on this food. I could get a much better salad/ sandwich at Panera Bread or Wegman's. It is very overpriced too. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

A great place for lunch. The food is made-to-order but it can be bland sometimes. For instance, I got the Roasted Rosemary Lamb sandwich and it was kind of dry. I think salads are the way to go. They have kombucha tea, which is a nice touch.

Quick and HEALTHY meal! I went to the flying avocado for lunch and it's my new favorite cafe in owings mills! I wish I had known about this cafe long ago! I got the blackened chicken & brie which was sooo good!!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The combo of chicken, brie, honey, and apples is delicious! I also got the salad as my side, instead of the chips and salsa. Their balsamic vinaigrette dressing was like no other! My friend got the avocado chicken sandwich and had enough to take half home. They have fun coffees, teas, and protien shakes! The staff bring you your meal & drinks which are nice so you don't have to wait at the counter. This place is so popular, it's tough to find a table. They do have outside seating though, which is nice! P.S. LOVE the name!

I went to The Flying Avocado Cafe for breakfast (twice) and lunch (twice) and am overall impressed with the place. I've tried the 3-on-3 omelets, A2: vegan chili and Mediterranean salad, guacamole and black bean wrap. The food is good, a little bland at times. The veggies are fresh and I love the variety. The servers do not know what they have. I asked for spicy mustard today and she didn't know that dijon and spicy were the same thing. (again, it wasn't even that spicy). I would recommend this place overall.

This place is my favorite lunch spot! I frequent the Avocado often as I work nearby and couldn't be happier. I love the daily specials - a sign of creativity and connection to the local food and clientle. The portions are large and always fresh with a good variety from which to choose - salads, sandwiches, wraps, soups, smoothies, etc. I usual order one of the specials, but the menu items are very good as well. My favorites are the Avocado Nicoise Salad, Avocado Black Bean Burger Wrap, Roasted Lamb & Feta Wrap, and any of the soups. The large selection of teas are fun to try and although I haven't made it for breakfast, it looks delicious and I hope to soon. Seating can be a challenge at lunchtime and for large groups, and everything is made fresh so expect a bit of a wait. If you're looking for a meal to make your taste buds and nutritionalist-side happy at the same time, the Flying Avocado is a definite winner.

We went to this restaurant about a year and a half ago and it was totally fine. We were in the neighborhood recently and decided to stop back in and it was a disaster. So, this is a restaurant that advertises itself as "Baltimore's Best Vegetarian" and organic and crunchy and hippie. Should have been perfect for me, the vegetarian, and my family, right? But, unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best, they were out of all vegetarian options, and the service was as bad as possible. I should have taken a hint when a young man butted in front of us as we were about to order with a plate full of food and said, "I ordered the guacamole and chips." They said that WAS the guacamole and chips. He said, "There are no chips." They said, "We've been out of chips all week." I ordered the Avocado Tofu Wrap. They had no tofu. (Hello? Best vegan restaurant has no tofu?) So I ordered the Avocado/Hummus sandwich (Avocado Powerhouse Wrap). My husband ordered some barbequed meat sandwich which he said was terrible and my girls split a grilled cheese which was okay (though it came on rye and we asked for whole wheat.) We also ordered two smoothies to drink (pina colada and avocado). The food came, but no drinks, in what seemed like a reasonable amount of time. We started to eat, and I took a bite of my sandwich and it was just mediocre avocado on bread with a few shredded carrots. Terrible and bland. I went to the counter and told them they forgot the hummus. They said, "We're out of hummus." I tasked how they could be out of tofu, hummus, and chips when there is a Trader Joe's down the street. The lady shrugged. I told her they needed to tell me this up front, since the sandwich is $9 and advertised with hummus. She offered to put guacamole on it for me. (Guacamole on an avocado sandwich?) I told her to forget about it and asked her which vegetarian sandwich they actually had all the items for. None. So I asked for my money back. My husband and kids finished their meals. Still no drinks of any sort. I went to the counter and said we needed our drinks and my money back. No luck. Finally, was we packed the kids up and were about to get int he car, I got the money back. Still no drinks. As I was about to ask for the money back for the two smoothies, they made them. The pina colada was okay, but the avocado one was disgusting. Through all of this, there was no apology. The woman even rolled her eyes at me when I complained about the lack of hummus on the sandwich. As a vegetarian for 20 years, I have come to love little places like this, and can forgive a lot just because they have options for people like me. But this was a disaster and they were nasty. Stay away.

eh, it's crunchy hippy food that isnt even that good. the salads are fresh but the dressings leave a lot to be desired. the chicken they use in the sandwiches is generally overcooked and kinda bland. the ahi tuna they use in the caesar salad is WAY overseasoned and the breakfast food is just average. it's good for a change of pace every once in a while i suppose.

Healthy food that tastes great. The Chicken Berry salad is amazing, it has mixed berries, honey coated walnuts, and goat cheese. The chicken and Brie sandwich. And you feel great after you eat it it, everything comes with lots of cleverly plated vegetables and organic foods. Try and get there early, it gets packed at lunchtime, and you often have to wait a few minutes for a table.

I haven't been here in a while, but I thought I should write a review. I am in love with their blueberry vinaigrette dressing (assuming it is still on the menu). I also love their wraps and hummus. You cannot beat organic when it comes to food quality. Delicious and healthier than the over-processed, chemical-infused meals out there. I'll recommend the Flying Avocado Cafe, anytime and any day.

OK this place is ABSOLUTELY MINT!!! 1st the folks at this place treat customers like family!!! Dez, Bria, Shauna, Kayla, & Mike...yes even Mike are superfriendly( ha ha). They are welcoming & helpful! 2nd the drinks & food & desserts are healthy, varied, & prepared fresh & yes yummylicious. The crew also helped me, a total newbie vegetarians or vegan food consumer make tasty choices. 3rd the place is clean& inviting. Good & beverages are prepared quickly. This place is a WINNER!! If I could, I would give 10 stars!!! Great date joint or office lunch or go solo!

This place is a fantastic find! (It was actually a recommendation from a friend.) The staff was super friendly and there were so many fresh & healthy options on the menu it was hard to decide. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the Vegetarian Nachos for an appetizer followed by a soft whole wheat wrapped turkey & provolone cheese wrap. What a delight! We also were excited to find them connected to an organic pharmacy & wellness center where we purchased a bevy of homeopathic products & took cards for highly recommended acupuncturists & massage therapists! We can't wait to come back and try more food & maybe splurge on a massage (making a reservation first, of course!) I would give this place 10 stars if it were available. What a fun place!

Flying A is a refreshing difference from the usual fast food, quick lunch-ish places. Great for picnics! They've never been out of anything when I've been... except desserts. That case is always empty! I enjoy the list of sandwiches and wraps, there is a good variety of veggie or non-veggie options, and you can really tell the stuff is fresh. I've never had a smoothie as I feel they're overpriced... alas I haven't had one to vouch for that! My main gripe would be they do skimp a little for the price.

I was in Owings Mills for a business meeting. When I said I'd like a salad for lunch my co worker suggested The Flying Avocado. The place is not small, but it was packed. They had plenty of fresh options. I had a avocado nicoise salad with tuna. I have a weak spot for leafy, rooted greens and this did not disappoint. The food was quick and reasonably priced for a healthy option. My coworker had a sandwich and salad combo which looked delicious. I wish it was a little closer to the city, so I could go more often.

Just okay. Not nearly as impressed as I thought I would be. In their defense, I got catering. So the food sat. In my defense, the ordering process was also a pain. I called several times and each time, someone new told me to call back later. Nothing horrible, but nothing great. Just meh. The blondes are yummy though. But I resent halved muffins on my dessert tray for lunch. Muffins are not desserts!

I am very allergic to gluten and they make great gluten free sandwiches and wraps! The problem with this place is that the service is absolutely atrocious! They get my order wrong almost every time so I have to send it back. The servers have absolutely no idea what is on the menu and don't know what is going on. I need to repeat my order several times and they still get it wrong. It's kind of comical. The kitchen staff are also really inappropriate, they stare and wink at you as you're waiting for your order. Its pretty damn creepy! Honestly this place just seems like it needs better management...

Stopped in for carryout, got a hummus avocado wrap (powerhouse, I think) with a salad on the side and a coffee. Bland, very bland. This place is just the usual overpriced flavor of the month. I was really hungry and this didn't cut it. A shame. Salad was fresh, dressing was boring. Nothing to make me want to go back.

This place is usually very good! Have been wanting to try the Puerto Rican black beans and rice that is advertised. Go to order and they say they don't have any. I ask if this is temporary or permanent and am told that they don't have the ingredients right now. It will be available when they do. Rework my order - not an easy task when you've been looking forward to it all morning - and order lunch with a smoothie. Guess what?! Out of almond milk for the smoothie. Sounds like more attention needs to be paid when ordering stock! $14 later and I didn't get anything I went in for!

Ever get a hot drink served to you in a plastic cup with a straw? Yeah - mean neither... until today. Confused? Yes. Especially since there was no acknowledgment of the oddity until I brought it up. The staff told me that they served the hot drinks like that (in my case, a Chai Tea) because 1) they were out of the lids that go to their hot drink cups and 2) the hot drink cups themselves were really thin. Still, I told them they had better come up with some sort of solution because serving a hot drink to someone with a straw was obviously not going to cut it. They ended up doubling the cups and giving me a flimsy lid. Keep in mind, I was only getting the Chai Tea because the two walls of teas they had on the walls were just a tease. That's right: JUST FOR DISPLAY - no tea in the building beyond the chai. Smh... The only redeeming factor was that the Chai was actually really good... definitely worth the hassle of trying to get to a state to actually consume it, but not quite making up for the fact that there wasn't tea at a spot that boasts its tea selection. Grrr.... On to the good part: lunch here great for someone trying to stay on the straight and narrow and stay healthy. I ordered a vegetarian chili and hummus platter (served with veggies and pita) and was very pleased with the taste, quality, and freshness. The staff were all courteous and helpful and checked in on me as I ate (this was before I ordered the Chai to go). I think once this spot works out its kinks, it will be a GREAT little cafe. For right now, though, not having tea and getting chai in a plastic cup deserves a definitely SIDE EYE... :/

This is a cute spot. Great customer service. Unfortunately ...I wanted to like my sandwich - the roasted turkey pesto - but I was disappointed (my expectations to eat actual turkey meat rather than a slice of Hillshire Farm deli lunch meat may have had something to do with it). However, my friend enjoyed the guacamole and the roasted vegetable sandwich. I'm willing to come back to try the roasted veggie sandwich though!!!

Roasted Rosemary Lamb and Vegan Chili Well, let me first say that I wish I could regurgitate this meal...AND EAT IT AGAIN because it was so damn good! The lamb is so tender and well marinated that it breaks off as soon as you bite into it. The potato is cooked to perfection, I've never had a sandwich with a potato on it but it complimented the lamb and onions so very well. The onions are so sweet then the rosemary mayo tops it all off. The first bite will instantly send your taste buds into pure bliss. Now, the vegan chili...wow. I'm no vegan but I literally cannot taste the difference. It doesn't seem like it's missing anything at all. And it's so well flavored that no salt and pepper was needed (and I'm a heavy flavor girl). This is a perfect fall meal; the chili will warm your soul. I am a very light eater, meaning I cant eat a lot of things whole in one sitting, but I finished this meal and wanted more! Atmosphere The staff are very warm and friendly. They give honest recommendations and they wait patiently for you to decide what you want (there are a lot of options). The cashier even gave me a free drink! If you come in there often enough you will be on a first name basis with them. The food is cooked with love and they bring it out to you if you decide to dine in. Price This place is definitely a little pricey but good food with good ingredients usually is. It's definitely worth a visit! I give this meal and restaurant four tongues up!

Heard so much about this spot so I finally made it in. If you like health food options then this is a great lunch spot. Very divey, menu is on chalk boards. I ordered chicken on a stick w a salad. I was ok w the chicken bit disappointed in the salad. Customer service was ehhh... I mentioned it was my first time and was looking for a recommendation. But instead I was met w impatience, so I just picked anything simple. I did try the blueberry smoothie and it was pretty good. Next time I will try it w a vitamin shot.

We always get the chicken berry salad, it is Incredible!!!! I get it with balsamic dressing instead of the dressing that comes with it. It's SO good that I haven't been able to try anything else because I love it so much. I live in Sykesville and make the drive just for that!!! Wish they were closer to my house. I highly recommend this place.

We have always enjoyed the food, the service is always fine. Unusual, tasty wraps, sandwiches and salads. The last 2 times we were here I had the impression that the restaurant has a problem. It seems to be financial although they are usually crowded. They aren't open for breakfast anymore. A shame because they have a good menu. They have been out of paper menus for weeks. The selections are written on a chalkboard but still...... They haven't had the coffee machine operational in months. Very strange because they have a large coffee menu still visible. I asked for packets of real sugar the last two times. They are out of it! The racks where the sell chips are almost bare, as is the refrigerator section of bottled water and drinks. The dessert display only had two items. I think they will be closing soon. It's a shame. I hope I'm wrong.

Was in the area. Roast Beef wrap was good but I like likely horsey sauce spicy. Fresh saiad was good. Date had jerk chix wrap with chips (blue corn torts) was also good. Our service prompt and polite. A little pricey but was fresh. Good experience.

Food is great but I don't have 10$ to spend on a sandwich each time I go there. Way too pricey

Yummy and delicious! Avocado black bean burger wrap is amazing, then side salad is delightful too! They even made me a hot salted caramel mocha that wasn't on the menu! Great customer service and clean! Great find!

I tried it out because a few people recommended it to me. I'm not a big organic person. However, I'm willing to try anything once. I got the roast beef with Brie and an avocado smoothie. Both we mediocre. Definitely not worth the price and I couldn't tell that it was organic. Nothing special and I could of made everything that I bought for lunch at home.

"You will be flying high, if you're eating right!" I saw this slogan up on the wall when I was eating my very healthy lunch there recently. And I fell in love with this restaurant. The slogan completely matches my philosophy. From so many attractive selections, I chose to have "Avocado Triple Connection". Since I was at The Flying Avocado Cafe, I thought I would choose something with Avocado in it, and also because I had a dinner feast get-together with my friends scheduled that night, i decided to eat light. I placed my order paying about $7 at the cashier, and I went to wash my hands. My food was already on the table when I got back. That was quick. First impression of the Avocado Triple Connection was "Colorful!" It was very neatly presented with 4 kinds of fresh veggies, organic chips, grilled pita, home made guac, hummus and spinach dip. I really enjoyed the fresh veggies, chips and pita with the 3 different dips! What a healthy eatery in this (to me, "unknown" ) small town of Maryland! I will definitely come back here on my next trip to this are to try more of the great selections in their menu.

Everything was so fresh and delicious! It's always crowded because the food is so good but you never have to wait for a table. It's organic too. My go to place when meeting a friend for lunch!
